Who we are

CareWire is a trading name of One-Handed Music Ltd (Company No. 07148114, England & Wales), the data controller, registered with the Information Commissioner's Office. Contact: hello@carewire.uk.

What we process and why

1. Subscriber data (name, email, company, payment handled by Stripe): to provide the service. Lawful basis: contract. Retained while you're subscribed, plus six years for tax records (invoices only). We never see your card details.
2. Public register data: our digests contain information from the Care Quality Commission's public register, used under the Open Government Licence v3.0. This is predominantly organisational data; it can include names of individuals where the regulator publishes them (for example registered managers) and business contact details. Lawful basis: legitimate interests. We do not enrich this with private sources, and we do not include anything not already published by the regulator.
3. Prospect data (business contact details of incorporated companies, from Companies House and public directories): to introduce the service, business-to-business only. Lawful basis: legitimate interests. We exclude sole traders and unincorporated businesses, honour opt-outs permanently, and delete non-responders' data after 90 days.

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability — email us and we will act within one month. If your name appears in a digest and you want it removed from future ones, one email does it — no questions. Complaints: ico.org.uk.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts.

Where data lives

Payment processing: Stripe. Email delivery: Resend. Site hosting: Cloudflare. Each processes data under their own published terms as our processors.
